About The Host
Eric Evans has spent the last decade serving in both the Army National Guard and Army Reserve, where he still serves today. He is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan and the founder of Friendly Forces, a non-profit dedicated to empowering reservists in the workforce and educating US employers about policies that enable part-time service. Eric has become an outspoken thought leader for the reservist community, focusing on the unique strengths of the Reserve Component and also the unique challenges faced by those in it.
Eric is a humorist by nature and frequent contributor to military content pages. When not podcasting or Army-ing, Eric works as a consultant in the Washington, DC area.
